General purpose threadlocker that provides a medium strength bond

Works on all metals, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminum and plated surfaces. It is proven to be tolerant of minor contamination due to industrial oils, e.g., motor oils, corrosion prevention oils and cutting fluid.

Application

 

 

TAN 243 thread locker is used to secure metal pipelines and fittings, fill gaps between metal components' threads, and

prevent leaks after curing. It is employed for sealing in both high and low-pressure environments. The liquid sealant

can be used for immediate sealing tests at low pressure and, once fully cured, can seal most pipeline systems to the

point of bursting.
